Beauty Essentials

I'm always on the look out for new beauty products either from my fave brands or trying out new brands I haven't used before. A few new products that I have tried or in the process of buying due to rave reviews they have had or just because I want to try something new.

Nars Orgasm Illuminator

I am a certified Narsaholic as I love the products esp the skin care product. Unlike MAC Nars don't release loads of new products frequently but their collections consists of some fabulous beauty junkie must haves. I'm going to buy and try the new orgasm illuminator,it comes on clear when used and can be used on the face,shoulders and neck. Also good for over or under your makeup.

Dior Extase Mascara it's a must have. I started using this a few weeks ago and it's one of my fave mascaras. As soon as you apply it you can see the effects on your lashes, it gives length and volume. Its only out in black at the moment, Im hoping they add new colours to the range.

Mac Fix +Rose was a limited edition product that came out a couple of months ago that i love, its a perfect after make up fix, contains rose water. 

Laura Mercier Brow fixing Gel- One of my daily must use, I used to use the Dior brow fixing gel but that got discontinued so I was recommended Laura Mercier, the brow gel is the perfect replacement as it's long lasting and great for fixing my brows just how i want it.

 

NARS Kabuki Artisan Botan Brush, I have regular beauty consultations and this brush was recommended to me and I haven't regretted buying it, it's perfect for loose powder application,buffing and blending, I use mine as a buffer to blend in my foundation and the results are amazing.

This isn't new but I recently started using it and I luv it,Vaseline is a beauty essential and I like this as it has rose and almond oil which are both good.       
 
Next on my to buy list is the Empreinte de Chanel Radiant Glow Highlighting Powder Limited Edition

Beauty- Dior Limited Edition René Gruau Compact

I'm so excited about the next limited edition compact from the House of Dior - Beauty, the Rene Gruau compact will be sold exclusively in the UK through Selfridges in London This product will be very limited so I pre-ordered mine today. Launch date is set for end of May. The staff at Dior in Selfridges are so friendly and def the best one stop shop for all things Dior beauty also for exclusives.

Beauty-Mascara

I found it hard to find the perfect mascara so I decided to try as many as possible till I find the ones that I like based on how long they last in the day, if they give me longer lashes and the quality of the product and all the usual things one looks for in any product,so far I actually like them all as depending on what shade,look I go for I use a different one.
 My must haves thou are

• Dior Show Iconic
• Givenchy Phenomen Eyes Mascara , love the spiral brush head as it coats every lash, you have to try it to believe it.
• Dior Show Blackout perfect for smoky eyes
• YSL Volume Effect Faux Clis one of the best I have used, its give a false lash effect and you can see the difference to your lashes when applied.

Beauty - Lilly Pulitzer for MAC

This month sees the launch of Lily Pulitzer for MAC, the collection consists of various shades of eye shadow, nail lacquer, lip glee, paint pots and brushes, but on my to buy list are Pearlmatte eyeshadows below. I only buy MAC cosmetics when its a collaboration and I'm def lovin this one.

In April its the launch of the Liberty for MAC collaboration and I've got a few items on my wish list.

Best of 2009 - Beauty Buys

I got one of the Limited Edition Love Dior palettes last year from the newly relaunched Dior beauty counter in Selfridges which is now the biggest one in Europe. I love Dior makeup as it was the first brand of makeup I used, the quality and range on offer is extensive and the Diorshow Iconic is one of the best mascaras I've used.
