Scents Of A Woman - Perfume

I am a perfume addict, I love the smell, packaging and essentiality of the product. I have so many different bottles on my dressing table as I dont like to go for one scent I like to keep people guessing. I always make sure its perfume I'm buying and not Eau de Toilette as that never has the same effect. My one stop shop for all things perfume is Harrods as the perfume hall is one of my fave places in the store. I also love Harvey Nicks as they usually get exclusivity on new perfumes before they hit the mass market. If you like Chanel perfumes then be sure to check out the Chanel perfumery in Selfridges as that place is a just divine and like a kids candy store for all things Chanel.

I have current favorites and at the moment and one is Marc Jacobs Lola. I love the smell and the bottle as it stands out the most on my dressing table, I'll def recommend it as a must have if you dont have it already.

Chloe

John Galliano one of my top faves

Vera Wang and Vera Wang Princess

I also like the Juicy Couture perfume as its best when going out in the evening as it's got a stronger scent.
The one I have also has glitter in it which is perfect for when I want sparkly skin.

  Miss Dior Cherie

Van Cleef & Arpels Feerie

The new Balenciaga Paris perfume

If you want to splurge and want that extra special gift for yourself or a special someone go for

Bond No 9 Swarovski Stars Bleecker Streer Harrods Exclusive

Amouage Jubilation 25

Acqua  De Parma Profumo Spray

I am not a fan of celeb perfumes so you will never find any on my dressing table. They are never to my taste and celeb inspired products never appeal to me in general.

What is your favorite perfume?

Summer Essentials Part 1 - Sandals

Over the next couple of months I will be putting posting my summer essentials list. It may be cold outside in London but a girl can never start prepping for summer early enough. My latest obession has been looking for the right sandals for the season, I may not be able to wear them in London till maybe June if we are lucky enough to get a summer this year, but I'm thinking about what to wear when I go on holiday as thats the most important thing to prep for. So I've browsed the net and these are my picks of hot sandals out at the moment.

I love everything about these Balenciaga Gladiator studded sandals

I like the simplicity of these Evans Gold Gem Sandals

Label Loves - Carmakoma

I love everything that the Danish design duo Weiss & Lykke are doing with their fashion range Carmakoma which caters to the plus size market. I like the fact their their collection is stylish with clean cut designs as lots of designers/brands are under the impression that plus fashion has to be boring and frumpy. I've pulled together my picks from their SS10 collection. The collection ranges from Uk size 14-24

Casualwear - Evans Spring Collection

The new Evans spring range has started to filter through on to the online site, I haven't been to the shops yet to see whats available waiting for the sales to end. I've picked my fave pieces from the site at the moment as when it comes to plus size fashion Evans always deliver on style and quality. These are my picks for casualwear which is what I usually wear to work. My take on fashion is taking something simple and styling it up with a supa bag, haute shoes, and beautiful jewelry. I also like to be comfortable in my clothes since I'm always on the move. I'm eager to see what more they have coming for the season as I know they wont dissappoint.

Indigo Denim shirt I would wear this over a dress like a jkt with the sleeves rolled up with leggings

 Blk knitted tunic

Grey Jersey Boyfriend Blazer this will be great in the Spring with slimfit jeans and a white tank as in the picture

Blk Jersey Boyfriend Blazer a wardrobe essential, I like the fact its jersey as it will be easier to wear and more comfortable.

Thank Gawd Its Friday

So glad today is Friday as what a week it has been. I started a new job on Tuesday working for the largest retailer of Lingerie online based here in the Uk. It was nice to meet my new team and finally get started as I wanted to take in as much as possible. Buying season has started so I had my first buying appt with HOM a mens underwear brand who Ive worked with for a couple of years now.Sadly there was no male model but I'm hoping there will be in the next one and I can share pics with you guyz.
I'm sure you've all heard about the horrible weather we have had in the UK, finally the snow has melted away as it was making life unberable and the commute to work a nightmare (I spend 50% of my life ranting about the weather, its a British thing).

Kept dreaming of Laduree all week

WEEKEND
This weekend I plan to chillax in front of the tv as its going to be heavy rains and I also need to organise my closets and sort out my handbags, not planning any social events with friends as staying in is my new going out. I'm also going to try and finalise our travel plans for the year with my travel buddy my younger sister.

Might do some baking this weekend as my older sister got these for me from America.

Item of the week - Issa Beaded Silk Kaftan

I love what Issa does to a kaftan and fell in love with this as soon as I saw it. I love everything about wearing a kaftan as it can be comfortable and elegant at the same time. Growing up my mum had so many kaftans of different colours, styles and fabrics in her closet and she always looked amazing when she wore them. In England its harder to wear a kaftan out esp in the winter so its either worn casually at home or on holiday somewhere hot. I cant wait to go away on vacation so I can wear mine dressed up with gold jewelry and jewelled sandals.
